Planning for a holiday in Lapland, the winter wonderland? Enjoy your stay in the Savu cottage, built in 2009, high quality and spacious log house which is fully equipped for 8+2 persons. Savu is conveniently located in Ylläs, close to the centre of the Äkäslompolo village only 1 km from all services. You do not necessarily need a car.

 

We are a member of Ylläs Travel Association. We support the  maintenance and development of local ski tracks, snowmobile and hiking routes in the Ylläs Arctic hill area.

 

Premises of the Cottage

 

Downstairs fully equipped kitchen for 8 persons, living room with large windows to South (into direction of Ylläs), 2 x bed rooms (with separate beds), 2 x toilet, sauna (the sauna stove made by Mondex will give you a relaxing steam), shower and utility room.

 

Upstairs 1 x bed room (with double bed), 2 separate beds at the loft, toilet and lot of space. In total 8 comfortable and full sized beds. Two additional mattresses upstairs.

 

Savu suits well for a large group up to 8 (+2) persons or even two families. Downstairs 79 m2,  upstairs 45 m2 and in total 123 m2. Veranda 16 m2 on the south and west side of the cabin. View to Ylläs and Kuertunturi Arctic hills.

 

Downstairs 49” Smart 4K UHD TV, 4K UHD Blu-ray player, CD player and stereo. Upstairs 40" HD TV and DVD player. Internet access free of charge for our customers (fast optical fibre network 100/100 Mbps).

 

Warehouse built in 2015 including a separate ski service room equipped with a heater radiator. Ski iron and 2 x ski waxing bench. 4 x snowshoes. Bike which can be used for shopping trips etc. can be found from the warehouse. 2 x power outlet for car heaters. Grill for outdoor use.

For rent Niestatupa, a cosy holiday apartment built in 2010 for 2+2 persons at an affordable price. Niestatupa is conveniently located in Ylläs, close to the centre of the village Äkäslompolo only 1 km from all services. Car is not a necessity.

 

For Ylläs newcomers as well as old timers Niestatupa is an excellent choice at a reasonable price, just within a walking distance from the centre of the still genuine Lappish village Äkäslompolo.  The windows in the living room towards the South give you a view to the nature just outside the window. The cross country ski tracks are just around the corner.

 

Premises of the Apartment

 

Fully equipped kitchen for 4 persons, bedroom with two beds, sleep sofa in the living room, sauna, shower and toilet (36,5 m2). Heated stone floor.  Forced ventilation.

 

Niestatupa suits well for couples and small families. In case you are interested please call or send an e-mail.

 

Locker outside in the staircase to store skies etc. Common laundry room and ski service room are available for our customers in the building. Parking place with power outlet for car heater.
